- What is micro audio drama?
- Micro audio drama is a full audio drama told in short episodes, a few minutes each: a cast of voices, sound design and a cliffhanger, sized to fit a coffee break. DialTale puts each series on its own phone number, so a story is one call away.
- Do I need an app or an account?
- No. Call the series’ number from any phone. The line remembers your place by your caller ID.
- Does it cost anything?
- Every series starts with free episodes. To keep going after those, each later episode will take one episode credit, which you buy at dialtale.fm/credits. Jumping back during a call to an episode you’ve heard to the end uses one credit, even to a free one. The call itself costs the same as any other domestic call, and most US plans include it.
- How long is an episode?
- A few minutes. Hang up whenever you like, and call back to pick up where you left off.
- What stories can I hear?
- Misfortune, a horror audio drama, and Dispersed, a science fiction audio drama. Both are for teens and up.
