Privacy policy

Last updated September 16, 2026

DialTale is operated by DialTale, LLC. This policy covers the DialTale phone lines, the text alert program and this website.

Mobile phone numbers and text sign-up information are never shared, sold or rented to third parties for marketing purposes. The DialTale subscriber list is not rented, sold, or used as an advertising channel for anyone else.

What we collect

What we don't collect

We do not record call audio. Nothing you say on a DialTale line is recorded or stored; we keep only the call details listed above. We don't ask for your name, address, email or payment details to hear an episode, and this website has no sign-up form.

How we use it

Who we share it with

Only the service providers that operate the line and store the data for us: our telephone provider (Twilio) and our database and hosting providers (Supabase and Vercel). They process it on our behalf and may not use it for their own marketing. We may disclose information if the law requires it. Beyond that, we don't share it, and as stated above we never share, sell or rent mobile numbers or text sign-up data for marketing.

How long we keep it

Call details are kept while a series runs and for a reasonable period afterwards so we can measure how it performed. Text alert records, including opt-in and STOP records, are kept as long as required to show that consent was given and honored.

Your choices

Children

DialTale series are made for adults, and some carry a mature-audience advisory at the start of every episode. DialTale is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the current version, and material changes will be reflected there.
