DialTale
How it works
Call (315) 818-5869 from any phone. No app, no account, no download. Each episode runs a few minutes, with a full cast, sound design and a cliffhanger. The line remembers each caller's place by caller ID, so calling back picks up where they left off. Early episodes are free; standard call rates from the caller's phone plan apply. The 315 area code is Syracuse's own, where the story is set.
From the founder
“People used to call a number to hear a story. We thought that deserved to come back, just a lot scarier.”
