About DialTale

DialTale is a serialized audio drama network that delivers short stories exclusively over the phone.

What we make

We produce original audio drama series, told in episodes a few minutes long, each with a full cast, sound design and a cliffhanger. Every series has its own phone number. You call it and an episode plays. Call back and the story picks up where you left off.

There is no app, no account and nothing to download. Any phone will do.

Our series

New series join the library as they open.

From the founder

“People used to call a number to hear a story. We thought that deserved to come back, just a lot scarier.”

Amadi Grey, founder of DialTale

What it costs

Every series starts with free episodes. To keep going after those, each later episode will take one episode credit, which you buy at dialtale.fm/credits. Jumping back during a call to an episode you've heard to the end uses one credit, even to a free one. The call itself costs the same as any other domestic call, and most US plans include it.

The company

DialTale is operated by DialTale, LLC, based in Arlington, Virginia. How a call works, and how the text alert sign-up works, is on How it works. Coverage, artwork and logos are on the press page.
